INVITATION TO COMBAT ENGINEER AND LOGISTICS

2024-02-05

Warsaw, Poland

March 12 - 14, 2024

booth 112

VIKING Lighting®  hereby invites you to visit us during the 10th edition of the COMBAT ENGINEER AND LOGISTICS 2024 EVENT “The CEL 2024” (www.defenceleaders.com).

We welcome you to booth No 112, where we will show the latest from VIKING Belysning.

The event takes place between March 12th and 14th, 2024, at EXPO XXI Centre, Pradzynskiego Str 12/14, Warsaw, Poland.

During CEL 2024, we will present VIKING Lighting®  workplace lighting that is combat-proven.

The most important fact is that the lighting fixtures were developed in Sweden.

Secondly, these have been manufactured by us for 20 years.

Based on user feedback, we have identified several areas where VIKING work lighting is ideal. These are among others:

  • medical tents,
  • shelters for military personnel,
  • tents for storing equipment,
  • hangars,
  • service tents,
  • containers,
  • cooking trailers, and more.
If these are interesting areas for you, please visit us at booth No 112. Therefore, we kindly invite you to CEL 2024.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO BE AT THE FAIR?

As you may know, military engineers and logisticians have been intertwined throughout the history of armed conflict.

Firstly, they are increasingly critical to success in modern warfare.

Secondly, at large-scale combat operations, where multitudes of forces play a significant role, collaboration between our engineers and logisticians is inevitable.

Therefore, Combat Engineer and Logistics is the global platform for the two communities to meet.

Moreover, the 10th edition of the CEL 2024  is an event to gather and share knowledge and discuss common problems.

On top of that you may explore potential solutions.

That's why we encourage you to talk to the VIKING Lighting experts about your lighting challenges for extreme situations.

This is the reason why the lighting solution that we will present in Warsaw is https://vikinglighting.com/sv/produkt/viking-lighting-med-batteribackup/.

In addition, it is a perfect place to network with military peers, researchers, and industry experts.

ABOUT THE FAIRS

CEL 2024 will be the biggest iteration of the event to date. The reason behind this is that it returns to the vibrant city of Warsaw. Interestingly, this time we moved our meetings and exhibition to the impressive EXPO XXI fair https://expoxxi.pl/contact-us/?lang=en.

On top of that, the Defense Leadership Team and their event partners prepared an enhanced program of focused briefings and panel sessions.

In addition to the authoritative speaker, the faculty will address the most pressing topics facing us all now.

Therefore, the areas of discussion will include climate change, technological advances, and the impact of NATO's new force on engineers and logisticians.

AUDIENCE

Attendees at the event will include senior military personnel, government representatives, program managers, and capabilities and requirements teams.

Moreover, we also expect many front-line commanders, engineers, and scientists.

On top of that, the event will be a catalyst to stimulate meaningful discussions, create partnerships, and promote international cooperation.

At the same time, it strives for improved combat technical capabilities and logistical excellence.

Concluding, we invite you to visit us at CEL 2024!

See you in Warsaw!

Therefore, thanks to the 20 years of history the fairs have developed into an important event for the European rescue industry. Secondly, in the past, the show hosted more than 500 exhibitors and 30,000 domestic (German) and foreign professional visitors. During the RETTmobil exhibition, the manufacturers present special vehicles, technology, and equipment as well as protective and hygienic clothing dedicated to firefighting, emergency, fire protection, and civil defense. In addition, the fairs give the best opportunity to obtain information directly from professionals.  The RETTmobil exhibition is a must for all rescue users and purchasers. Because we are the lighting equipment manufacturer it means that VIKING Lighting will be participating in the RettMobil 2022.
The dates:
VIKING LIGHTING will be present in Hall C, booth 919. Addresd: Paul-Klee-Straße 74, 36041 Fulda, Germany Dates:  11th -13th May 2022 See more: https://www.rettmobil-international.com/en/start-page/
What's for rescue teams?
Please come and get acquainted with our newest solution of portable lighting equipment for use in a rough environment. The VIKING Lighting that is popular among the rescue teams is the VIKING Lighting LED type L212. Mostly, because it is a lightweight but durable lighting piece. For more information please see:  https://vikinglighting.com/en/produkt/viking-l212110-230vac/ The VIKING Lighting has been combat-proven by several rescue teams from different countries on a few continents. Therefore, it's well-known in Sweden, Germany, Japan, and France. The typical case of use is natural disasters (earthquakes, heavy winds, and snow) and accidents, and construction collapse. Moreover, the light is shadowless, therefore it can be efficiently used in medical tents. We have used the opal diffuser. As a result doctors and medical staff are not exposed to the glare effect, commonly referred to as blinding. In addition, there are other features such as the lightweight aluminum housing which protect the lighting from heating up. In conclusion, it has to be noted that the medical services appreciate the bright, white light with a value of 4000°K, because this value corresponds to the parameters of natural light.   [caption id="attachment_2434" align="aligncenter" width="300"] pic. 28-29 November 2019

research on LED lamps

Lichen conference

On November 28 and 29, 2019, Teknoprod AB participated in

the XII Conference on Repair and Maintenance Issues in Energy Sector.

The conference was held in Licheń, Poland.

More information in the link: https://www.kierunekenergetyka.pl/konferencja,2098,61715.html

During the event, several topics related to maintenance prevailed. Several repair solutions were presented.

Moreover, diagnostics of electromechanical systems, control systems, and supervision of the energy production process were discussed.

Our representatives have presented the results of the recent research on LED lamps sources of light run by the Teknoprod Group.

The typical product for repair is the compact lighting L212 https://vikinglighting.com/en/produkt/viking-l21224v-acdc/

What is the source of light for LED?
Compared with conventional light sources that first convert electrical energy into heat, and then into light, LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) convert electrical energy directly into light, delivering efficient light generation with little-wasted electricity. In recent years, light-emitting diodes (LEDs) light sources have become widely used. As the analysis shows, in most drivers used to control LEDs in LED lighting devices, there is no compensation for changes in the light parameters of LEDs or LED matrices when the temperature regime of their operation changes, although temperature significantly affects the electrical and light parameters of LEDs.
How do LEDs work physics?
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits light when an electric current flows through it. When current passes through an LED, the electrons recombine with holes emitting light in the process. LEDs produce different colors by using various materials which produce photons at different wavelengths. Those individual wavelengths appear as light of different colors. LEDs use materials that can handle the necessary levels of electricity, heat, and humidity.
Our R&D
At the Teknoprod Group we invest in research and development of the lighting products. Our focus is research on LED lamps. There are ongoing projects leading to improvement of the LED lamps lead by our experienced engineers.

For the LEDs light source until November 2019 we run research on the:

  • high-efficiency light sources
  • improving lighting quality and energy efficiency
  • luminous efficiency above 100 lm/W
  • replacing traditional light sources
  • weight and size reduction
The future projects will base on the results of the research on LED presented during the conference for the energy sector. The venue of the conference allowed to discuss the issues vital for the key players in the Polish energy sector.
